Your Travel Website

What You Must Do to Get Customers

Word-of-Mouth Is Not Enough...

Now that you have your travel website up-and-running, your next step of course is to get prospects (customers) to visit your website.

Naturally, you start with all the people you know, your friends, co-workers, and relatives. Then, you start telling everyone you meet.

Next, you look for ways to advertise, or in some way find methods that will get people to visit your website.

Sure, you have a travel business, but how are you going to get people to visit your site?

Word-of-mouth is not enough.

Various methods (advertising) requiring you to pay for exposure could cost you a significant portion of your commissions.

Month-in and month-out, you hustle to keep the flow of prospects going to your website. Your website does a very effective job of selling, once you get people to visit.

If you are to earn large travel commissions, you must get a lot of new, ready-to-buy people to continually visit your travel site.

The conversion rate for internet businesses is very, very low, perhaps less than three percent. In other words, fewer than three out of a hundred people will make a purchase after visiting.

Even if you "bust the odds" by getting as high as a ten percent conversion ratio, you will still need a lot of people on a monthly basis.

Do the math using a ten percent ratio. But, it is safer to do the math using a conversion percentage of around five percent or less, if you want a more accurate picture.

A Sure-Fire Method to Drive Traffic
To Your Travel Website

There is a long term method that, if you work hard to set it up, will provide you with a continuous flow of ready-to-buy customers. What is the cost of this method? It is less than one dollar per day.

Do not misunderstand. Although inexpensive by many standards, to set-up and develop this method may require several years.

Wow, you say. That is a long time. Yes, but you are in business for the long term, and you do need a continuous flow of new people to visit your travel website.

There is no quick road to long term success. If you have little money your sweat-equity price for this inexpensive, but very effective, method of promoting your travel website is the time and hard work it will take to learn and implement it.

OK, here's the sure-fire method you must employ, in one very long sentence. (Hang on and prepare for the eye-opening surprise on how to get volumes of continuous traffic).

You must build another website that will provide in-demand content for the purpose of "PREselling" so that complete strangers will develop trust and confidence in you, thereby (more likely than not) creating the circumstance that they will want to take your recommendation of an internet travel website with which to purchase their travel.

Whew! A long sentence, I know. But, you must really dissect and understand the various components of the sentence if you are to succeed (long term) with your internet travel website.
